PRESIDENT’S REPORT – Matt Caffrey

  • The membership mailing has gone out which was a huge undertaking.  Many thanks to Joan Doyle and the membership committee.  We also have Paypal up and running , memberships can now be paid for on-line.
  • We have decided to join the borough in purchasing a bench in memory of Don Stevens.
  • No news to report about the 501(c)(3).  More financial information was sent in on Friday.  This has been a two-year process and we have done everything in our power to get this approved.
  • An article came out in the Intellegencer to explain the situation with the non-working lights on the holiday decorations.  The DBCA is working with the borough to get this resolved.
  • All of the paperwork is complete for the Senior Project.  This project will help organize volunteers for all of our events.

TREASURER’S REPORT – Bill James presented the report. Our ending balance for February 2010 was $7,195.17.

  • We will now have rolling membership dates.  If you have paid for your membership after September you will be grand fathered in for the year and will not have to pay until 2011.
  • We are in need of volunteers to help handout the membership letters down town.
  • We are all ambassadors of the DBCA.  Please take some extra applications with you and hand them out to friends and businesses.
