PRESIDENT’S REPORT – Rich Slabinski

The snowflake decorations will come down on February 25th, 2012.  Volunteers will meet at Starbucks at 9:00 am.

It was discussed that we get volunteers but they don’t always have what is needed to help with the volunteer job.  Margie Adamsky will call George’s Tool Rental to see if they would be interested in donating extra ladders to use for our events.

TREASURER’S REPORT – not reported.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Arts Festival – Rich Slabinski

  • The Arts Festival dates for this year will be on September 15th & 16th.
  • The Arts Festival committee is still looking for someone to chair the event.  Rich Slabinski will step back in to this role and get the next person up and running with the event.
  • Univest will not be the lead sponsor for the bike race.  There will be a bike race this year but at this time we do not know who will be the sponsor.

5K – Matt Kaminski

  • The Doylestown 5K will be held on Saturday, May 26th.  The committee is currently working on sponsorships.

Merchant Committee – Nerice Kendter

  • The Merchants group has its first meeting of the year scheduled for tomorrow.  At this meeting we will be laying out lots of events for the 2012 calendar and will be able to report next month.

Membership – Joan Doyle

  • Colette Hearn forwarded the member letter and application which needs to be reviewed and then tweaked before sending out.  Once this is complete we will need to get a group of volunteers together to help with the membership mailing.
  • Jim Wessier is working on the DBCA bicentennial ad and Joan will work on the wording.
  • Joan will work on getting articles back in to the borough bulletin.  In the next issue she will have an article regarding membership and include a copy of the membership form.

Borough Liaison – Joan Doyle

  • No news to report from the borough, everything is quite right now.
